Israel Ports Company (IPC) has published a new tender for land-use authorization in the Bay Port hinterland in Haifa, considered one of the most strategic and developing areas for logistics and port operations in Israel. The tender offers an area of approximately 18 dunams designated for expanded port and logistics activities for a period of ten years.

The site is situated in a central geographic and operational location, designed to allow professional companies and entities to integrate into the core maritime activity of Haifa Bay. The tender terms specify a ten-year authorization period, including the possibility of sub-authorizations for port operations, subject to full compliance with the published specifications.

The Bay Port hinterland has undergone significant development in recent years, serving as a major hub for managing trade flows, storage, and cargo. The logistics and freight forwarding industry views these areas as a critical envelope for improving national supply chain resilience, as they enable rapid operational continuity between the piers and the rear logistics centers.

According to the schedule set by the Israel Ports Company, the full tender documents are already available for public review on the company's official website. A professional site tour is scheduled for May 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM, with the final deadline for bid submissions set for June 30, 2026, at exactly 12:00 PM.

Pinhas Zeruya, CEO of Israel Ports Company: "The Bay Port hinterland is one of the most significant growth engines for the logistics and maritime trade sector in Israel. The tender we are publishing is intended to allow professional companies to integrate into the heart of the developing port activity in the Haifa Bay area, while creating an advanced operational framework that will support the growth of the Israeli economy and strengthen the national supply chain."
