Delta Air Lines has announced the resumption of daily direct flights between New York's JFK International Airport and Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport, starting September 6. The flights on this route will be operated using the company's Airbus A330-900neo aircraft.
The first flight will depart from New York on September 6 and land in Israel the following morning. The return flight from Tel Aviv to New York will take off on September 7 and land in New York later that same day.
Delta stated that the decision to resume service comes after a comprehensive review of security developments in the region. The company emphasized that the safety and security of customers and employees remain the top priority, and Delta will continue to monitor the situation closely in tight coordination with aviation authorities and relevant government bodies.
