Haifa Port Secures 5-Star Rating and Beauty Flag for Industrial Sustainability

Haifa Port Company, owned by Adani-Gadot, has been awarded five beauty stars in the "Beautiful and Sustainable Industry in Beautiful Israel" 2025 competition organized by the Council for a Beautiful Israel. This represents the highest possible score granted in the competition.

 

In addition, the company was awarded the "Beauty Flag," a special recognition for meeting the highest standards of environmental quality, aesthetics, safety, and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

 

The judging committee commended the company's commitment to maintaining a clean and well-kept environment, its ongoing investment in sustainability and environmental responsibility, and the contribution of the company's management and employees to the community, including social initiatives, employee volunteering, and assistance to populations in need throughout the year.

The activity at Haifa Port is coordinated and led by Revital Nissimov, Head of the Administration and Organization Unit at Haifa Port, who has represented and led the port in the competition for 16 years, since 2009.

 

The "Beautiful and Sustainable Industry in Beautiful Israel" competition has been held for over 40 years, with the participation of hundreds of the largest industrial plants in the economy. The competition is held under the auspices of the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry, in cooperation with the Manufacturers Association of Israel and the Kibbutz Industry Association, aiming to encourage environmental cultivation, improve the visual appearance of the industrial sector, and promote quality of life and sustainability in Israel.
