Following the site tour and inspection, the CEO of the Ashdod Port Company, Nissan Levy, addressed the hazard and noted the importance of immediate treatment of the issue: "When employees raise a safety issue, our responsibility is to reach the field, see it up close, and there is nothing better than feeling the challenge ourselves."

Levy added and emphasized the complexity of solving the situation: "Employee safety is at the top of our priorities, and we are committed to ensuring the slowing down of travel on one hand, and on the other hand, not harming the employees. The issue was brought up for discussion in the safety committee, and we continue to examine, check, and promote solutions until the correct and safest response is found."
