Due to the current situation in the Middle East, the Lufthansa Group has decided that from Thursday, January 15, its flights to and from Tel Aviv will operate as daytime flights only. This decision is now extended until Saturday, January 31, 2026 (inclusive). This change is designed to allow air crews to return to their base without staying overnight in Israel.
As a result, most of the flights scheduled for nighttime hours have been moved to daytime hours, and only a small number of flights have been canceled during this period.
The Lufthansa Group is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to assess it in the coming days.
From the Lufthansa Group, it was reported that "Passengers affected by the changes will be automatically transferred to alternative flights and will receive a proactive update. Alternatively, passengers are allowed to change their flight date to a later date. The safety of passengers and crew is always our top priority."
