Lufthansa Group Continues Daytime-only Flights to Israel

Lufthansa Group extends its daytime-only flight schedule to Tel Aviv until February 2026, ensuring crew safety by avoiding overnight stays while maintaining essential air connectivity.

Lufthansa Group announced this morning the continued operation of flights to and from Tel Aviv in a daytime-only format until Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

 

The company stated that "the company is ensuring that some of the canceled night flights are moved to daytime hours to assist passengers."

 

As a reminder, on January 18, the company announced that "due to the current situation in the Middle East, Lufthansa Group decided that starting Thursday, January 15, its flights to and from Tel Aviv will operate as daytime flights only. This decision is now extended until Saturday, January 31, 2026 (inclusive). This change is intended to allow aircrews to return to their base without an overnight stay in Israel."
