The Israeli Federation of International Freight Forwarders and Customs Clearing Agents held its annual conference last week at the end of which it honored veteran customs clearing agents who passed the age of 80 and who have, over the years, contributed tothe well being of the industry.
At a lunch given by IFFCCA in the presence of Mr. Uriel Lynn, president of the Israeli Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Yehuda Nasardishi, director general of Israel's Tax Authority, & Mr. Ami Segal, head of Israel's Customs Directorate, and many guests, the federation thanked the 13 veteran brokers, some of whom are still active, and honored them with decoration for their long service.
Mr. Shlomo Sharon, chairman of the IFFCCA, Mr. Yoram Arbel, chairman of the Haifa chamber of customs brokers and freight forwarders and Mr. Eli Yehezkeel , chairman of the Tel Aviv chamber of customs brokers and freight forwarders, expressed their gratefulness to the 13 veterans and thanked them on behalf of the industry.
