Total investment in the works will amount to NIS90 million of which NIS47 million will be paid for the new control building at the port of Ashdod
Israel Ports Development & Assets Company Ltd. (IPC) announced last week that final go ahead had been given to several port projects in Israel's three main maritime gateways.
Among the main works approved, the construction of the new control building for the new gate at the port of Ashdod, electrical upgrading works at the port of Haifa and the renovation of southern entry road leading to the port of Eilat.
A statement issued by the IPC noted that total investment in the works will amount to NIS90 million of which NIS47 million will be paid for the new control building at the port of Ashdod. NIS 21 million for the works at the port of Haifa and NIS 2.5 million to the port of Eilat.
