El Al launched new express check-in service via Internet

The online check-in can be made between 24 and three hours before departure
 
El Al Israel Airlines Ltd. launched last week a new internet based service: Early check-in via El Al's website
 
The online check-in can be made between 24 and three hours before departure.
 
The new service has several advantages: Enables online check-in anytime and from anyplace, Shortens the waiting time at the airport (only for flights departing from Ben-Gurion Airport), Allows passengers to choose their preferred seat in advance, Enables passengers to choose the type of meal they would like to be served on the flight.
 
El Al is offering two tracks for its new online service: Track A requires no document verification, Track B includes document verification, and is designed for passengers who failed to note all the necessary information during the online check-in procedure.
 
In a statement issued by the company it was noted that when the early check-in passengers arrive at the airport, they undergoes the normal security check, goes directly to the designated counter for the service, where the airline representative directs the passenger to either Track A or Track B, as needed.
 
After delivering the luggage, the passenger goes to passport control.
