FedEx Israel Leadership: Avishai Gazit Named New Managing Director

Federal Express Corporation announced this morning the appointment of Avishai Gazit as Managing Director in Israel. Gazit succeeds Miriam Tzur, who will continue to support the company as an external consultant on strategic projects following a distinguished professional career at the firm.

Gazit brings over 25 years of experience in aviation, logistics, and ground operations, as well as senior management experience worldwide. Gazit joined FedEx in 2018 as Ramp Operations Manager in Israel and was later promoted to Senior Operations Manager for Southeast Europe, Turkey, and Israel. In this role, he was instrumental in driving operational performance, strengthening collaboration between company units, and establishing a robust safety culture.

In his new role, Gazit will lead ground operations in Israel, Greece, and Cyprus.
