United Airlines to Resume Flights to Israel in November

United Airlines has announced the resumption of direct flights from Chicago and Washington to Israel, starting November 1.

In a meeting held by Transportation Minister Miri Regev with senior officials from United Airlines, the company announced that the groundwork has been completed between United representatives and the Ministry of Transportation for the resumption of direct flights from Chicago and Washington to Israel, starting from November 1.

The meeting was attended by the CEO of the Ministry of Transportation, Moshe Ben-Zaken, and the manager of the Israel Airports Authority, Shmuel Zakai. The company's executives noted that the trust and cooperation with the Ministry of Transportation have strengthened during the war period, and they are committed to further expanding flight routes to Israel from additional destinations in the United States. They also added that they appreciate the capabilities demonstrated by the Ministry of Transportation in managing civil aviation and maintaining a high level of safety, even under the complex conditions of the period.
