Veritas Group has successfully completed the transportation and placement of a 96-ton power transformer with a capacity of 110MVA, destined for one of the new power plants being established in southern Israel.

The transformer departed from the manufacturer's plant in China, was loaded at the Port of Shanghai onto a container ship, and was transported by sea to Israel. Upon its arrival at the Bay Port in Haifa, it was unloaded using two heavy cranes in coordination between the involved parties.

Subsequently, the transformer was transported using specialized inland transport equipment to the customer's site in the Negev, where its final placement was carried out using a crane with a lifting capacity of 700 tons.

The management and operation of the project throughout the entire supply chain, from the cargo's departure from the factory in China to its placement on-site, was led by Gil Salman, Project Manager at Veritas Logistics. He noted that transporting exceptional equipment of this type requires prior engineering planning, regulatory coordination with authorities and ports, and the operation of shipping companies, crane operators, and specialized transporters.

"Veritas will continue to take part in energy and infrastructure projects and provide end-to-end logistics solutions in the local and international markets," he stated.

It should be noted that this project is part of a series of heavy transformer shipments expected to arrive in the coming months, as part of the establishment of solar power plants and energy infrastructure throughout southern Israel.
