Ashdod Bonded Inaugurates New Logistics Center in Ashdod

Around 200 guests, including customers, suppliers, and representatives of authorities, participated in a festive event by the Ashdod Bonded Group to mark the inauguration of its new logistics center in Ashdod, ahead of the new year. The event took place in a festive atmosphere and included blessings from the Mayor of Ashdod, Dr. Yehiel Lasri, and the group's management.

The new logistics center, established in a strategic area near the Port of Ashdod and main transportation routes, embodies the group's continued growth and investments in the shipping and logistics sector. It is a modern center that will offer storage solutions and value-added services on a large scale, and is intended to serve importers, exporters, and businesses mainly operating in the south and center of the country.

During the event, Mayor Dr. Lasri shared the story of the group's founder, Shmuel Shelzinger, and emphasized the company's many years of contribution to the development of the local economy and Israel's logistics system. According to him, Ashdod is in the midst of a broad development process that combines investments in employment, infrastructure, and health, and the expansion of Ashdod Bonded fits well into this picture.

Asaf Amit, CEO of the group's subsidiaries, stated that the new logistics center is a symbol of growth and the future: "We established an advanced facility during a challenging period, out of commitment to customers and partners and belief in long-term growth. We plan to continue to expand and develop additional services while maintaining the highest level of operational continuity".

Roi Shelzinger, CEO of the Ashdod Bonded Group, thanked customers, suppliers, and authorities for their support and trust over the years and presented the vision for the next decade: improving service, expanding physical presence, and continuous development of innovative logistics centers.

Shelzinger referred to the company's history and its future vision: "We started more than five decades ago with a warehouse of only 3,000 square meters, and today the group operates about 70,000 square meters of covered storage areas and about 150,000 square meters of open spaces. The new logistics center represents a new starting point for us, which is a direct continuation of the path started by the group's founder, Shmuel Shelzinger. We see our service to our customers as a basis for growth and renewal, and we are committed to continuing to invest in infrastructure, services, and people to lead the logistics field in Israel forward".
