Israeli company eezyimport has achieved international recognition, being selected as one of the top five innovative startups in the logistics sector in the United States.

The Israeli startup eezyimport, operating under the Friedenson Group, was chosen as one of the five finalists in the Logistics Industry Opportunity Challenge, which took place last week in Memphis, Tennessee.

The competition, initiated by AlchemistX and in collaboration with Epicenter Memphis and Memphis World Trade Club, is designed to expose breakthrough solutions to the core challenges of the global logistics industry.

The event was attended by about 70 industry representatives, including logistics managers, innovators, investment funds, and other senior executives. The event featured professional panels, in-depth discussions, and the presentation of innovative solutions by startups chosen to tackle the core challenges of the logistics world. Out of about 100 companies that applied from across the US, the judging committee chose eezyimport as one of the top five outstanding companies.

eezyimport, led by CEO Uri Applebaum, presented the platform it developed for automating customs clearance processes, based on artificial intelligence technology. The platform allows importers to carry out the process themselves - in a simple, fast, and transparent way - and to save on costs and operational time.

Participation in the finals and winning a cash prize, according to the company, constitute an "international quality stamp" and open the door to collaborations with key players in the American industry. According to Applebaum, "Recognition by key players in the US is proof of the growing need for technological solutions that revolutionize the shipping and customs field."
