ABX LOGISTICS Worldwide and the Israeli freight forwarder, Peltransport Ltd. owned by the Mugrabi and Sarig families, marked the beginning of their co-operation agreement announced earlier this year.
The event was held in Tel Aviv with the participation hundreds of Peltransport's clients as well as representatives of the airline and shipping industries.
Mr. Edmond Mugrabi Peltransport's president said at the opening address that the new co-operation agreement has already fostered new business opportunities and strengthen Peltransport's presence in the forwarding & logistics business worldwide Mugrabi added that Peltransport was keen to link up with a worldwide network and was seeking a partner who could fit in with its strategic vision and organizational culture.
Mr. Gino Nale, Belgium's commercial attache' to Israel addressed the audience emphasizing the importance of Antwerp as a European gateway and said that Cooperation between ABX LOGISTICS and Peltransport will provide the Israeli market with full “one-stop shopping" services for import and export freight forwarding and logistics. Customers of the two companies will benefit from better capacity procurement rates and increased expertise.
Mr. Jens Tubbesing, ABX vice president USA introduced the company's logistic capabilities and noted that ABX regard Peltransport as an ideal partner which will fit in well with ABX network
