From the West Mediterranean ports to the United States and Canada, ocean rates will increase US$200 for 20-foot containers, US$250 for 40-foot containers
Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. announced last week it will hike westbound transatlantic rates as from next month.
From the West Mediterranean ports to the United States and Canada, ocean rates will increase US$200 for 20-foot containers, US$250 for 40-foot containers, and US$350 for 40-foot high-cube reefer containers. The increases go into effect Oct. 1 in Canada and Oct. 15 in the United States.
From Israel to the United States and Canada, the increase will be US$200 per container, effective October 15th.
From the West Mediterranean to South America, rates will increase € 200 per container on October 1st. From the West Mediterranean to Central America and Mexico US$75, the increase is per TEU, effective October 1st.
