Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd began last week a new container service to the Port of Tampa, part of Zim's Asia Gulf Express container service.

This is the first of several larger container vessels to provide weekly service to Tampa from China, Korea and Japan. The next container ship being introduced to the service will be the TEU 4,038 M/V Kaohsiung, arriving Sept. 21, will be the largest such vessel to call on Tampa port to date.
