ZIM Celebrates 60th Anniversary

ZIM Israel & Near East Area held an impressive reception for its customers last week, an event that also celebrated 6 decades of Zim's shipping activity in Israel and worldwide.                  
 
Nearly 1000 guests were invited to Caesarea, the ancient sea-port on the shores of the Mediterranean.                                                                                                                 
ZIM President & C.E.O. Mr. Doron Goder reviewed ZIM's future plans for growth and developments, a process which is also customer-oriented and aimed to promote services offered to customers.

ZIM Chairman, MR. Idan Ofer, announced ZIM's outstanding client for this year in Israel & Near East area, Ormat Ltd., manufacturers of advanced geothermal power plants, who more then tripled their exports with ZIM this year; the company's VP was granted an invitation to one of the Formula1 car races, as guests of ZIM and its sponsored racing team, Midland F1.

The evening concluded with a musical performance by one of Israel’s leading artists, Idan Reichel.
