As of November 2004, due to surge in Turkish – Israeli bilateral trade, Turkon Line will replace its container vessel M/V East Express by a larger vessel M/V Aynur Urkmez.
Turkon Line operates three vessels between Israel and turkey, calling at Istanbul, Izmir, Mersin, Ashdod, Haifa & Alexandria.
In addition to direct sailings between Turkey and Israel, the company offers a highly attractive service to Israeli exporters shipping cargo to US destinations. According to "Gold Line" the company's Israeli agent, Turkon operates 4 container vessels with 1,600 TEU capacity each and hopes to attract traffic from Israel via turkey to US east coast.
