The ZIM Ruby, a new and impressive container ship with a capacity of 8,000 TEU, made its way to the SIPG Bayport and was warmly received - not only because of its shiny and new appearance, but primarily due to its engine: powered by Liquid Natural Gas (LNG), a cleaner solution that leads the sustainability trend in the shipping industry.

The new ship operates as part of ZIM's ZMP service, on a route that includes Korea, Vietnam, and the Mediterranean. ZIM emphasizes that this is another significant step towards environmental improvement, as part of a commitment to cleaner oceans and reducing carbon emissions.

The company notes that alongside meeting shipping times and providing tailored and efficient solutions, great emphasis is also placed on 'how' - that is, on the manner of service delivery. 'For us at ZIM, the way of delivery is no less important than speed and accuracy, because it reflects the values that our customers believe in,' the company conveyed.
