Ashdod Port Representative Returns from Successful Economic Mission to India

Yehuda Nanikashvili, Head of the Container Department at Ashdod Port, participated in a successful economic delegation to India, aimed at fostering extensive ties between India and Israeli companies.

Yehuda Nanikashvili, head of the container department, has returned from a successful visit as a representative of the Ashdod Port Company's management in an economic delegation to India. The delegation, led by Minister Nir Barkat, included senior officials from the Ministry of Economy and representatives from 150 leading Israeli companies. The goal was to develop extensive ties between India and Israeli companies.

The delegation, which included about 150 leading companies in the field of export and trade, met with most of the business community in the fields of trade, technology, and energy. The delegation was accompanied by heads of the Manufacturers Association, Chambers of Commerce, the economic sector of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Export Institute, etc., who held meetings with senior company officials such as Tata, Indian Oil, energy and logistics groups, and more.

Yehuda Nanikashvili, spoke on behalf of the delegation about Ashdod Port at the forum of CEOs of leading companies and gave an overview of the advantages of Ashdod Port, a port with a huge logistics backbone with rich experience and expertise in handling a variety of segments. In addition, an overview was given of the port's technology hub and possible collaborations with startups in the field of shipping and logistics.
