The Swedish knighthood was presented to Castel in recognition of his work on behalf of Sweden, for having promoted its economic interests in Israel for many years
His Excellency King Karl Gustaf XVI of Sweden, awarded last week Mr. David Castel, Sweden's honorary consul in Israel and director general of Israel Scandinavian Maritime agencies, the Royal Order of the North Star.
The knighthood award was presented at a special ceremony by H.E. Mr Robert Rydberg Swedish Ambassador at the Swedish embassy which was held on June 6th according to the strict protocol of the royal house of Sweden.
