Ex police commander Yaakov Raz nominated chairman of Ashdod port

Raz, a veteran of the Israeli police force, served 31 years in the police carrying out various tasks
 
Shaul Mofaz Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transportation and Road Safety issued a press release last week indicating his decision to nominate ex  police commander Yaakov Raz, as chairman of Ashdod port.
 
Raz, a veteran of the Israeli police force, served 31 years in the police carrying out various tasks.

The nomination will come into effect once approved by an inter - ministerial committee.
