The free trade agreement (FTA) between Israel and the Mercosur bloc, which groups Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina, will take effect on June 1st.

Mercosur means Common market of the South (Mercado Comתn del Sur in Castillan) and indicates the economic community of the countries of South America: Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.
Brazil is the most important commercial partner of Israel in Latin America. This agreement of free exchange should triple the bilateral business during the next 5 years.
