Manpower Israel said that in September the demand for workers among employers was 10.3% higher than in August and 3.3% above the September 2005 level
Manpower Israel, an employment services company specializing in permanent, temporary and contract recruitment, said last week that in September the demand for workers among employers was 10.3% higher than in August and 3.3% above the September 2005 level.
In a statement issued by Manpower's CEO Dalia Narkiss, it was noted that the increase in September continues the moderate rise seen last August after the sharp drop in July as a direct result of the Lebanon war.
Narkiss noted, however, that "the increase in demand does not reflect a change in the economic trend, we must wait and see the full picture of the demand over the coming few months which will indicate whether the economy is indeed returning to real growth."
