During the Jewish Passover holiday which begins on March 29th, most Government offices will be closed and civil servants will be on holiday
The Israeli Customs Authority published last week their holiday program for the Passover period.
On Passover eve; Monday 29th March 2010 and on Sunday 4th April 2010,
Customs houses at the ports of Ashdod, Haifa, Ben Gurion airport, Eilat, and main postal offices at Tel Aviv will be working with minimum staff and will be open to the public between 08:00 and 11:00.
The Central region customs house and Jerusalem customs house will be closed. Also, All enquiries to Central region customs house will be dealt by customs employees at the main postal offices at Tel Aviv.
During the Passover holiday, on Wednesday 31/03/2010 and on Thursday 01/04/2010, Customs houses at the ports of Ashdod, Haifa, Ben Gurion airport, Eilat and main postal offices at Tel Aviv will be working with minimum staff and will be open to the public between 08:00 and 13:00.
The Jerusalem customs house will be closed except for 31/03/2010 between 08:00 and 13:00. Also, all enquiries to Central region customs house will be dealt by customs employees at the main postal offices at Tel Aviv
On Wednesday 31/03/2010 and Thursday 01/04/2010, Ben Gurion airport customs will only operate with one shift.
