Gadot Group, one of Israel's leading companies in logistics, infrastructure, and chemical distribution, has for the first time published an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) sustainability report. This represents a significant milestone in the long-term process of embedding environmental, social, and corporate governance principles into the group's operations.
The report summarizes years of accumulated activities, processes, and initiatives across all areas of Gadot Group's operations, including storage and infrastructure terminals, maritime and land transportation, production and distribution of chemicals, and extensive logistics activities. This operation serves over 1,000 customers in various key sectors in the Israeli and international economy, operating in a complex and dynamic regulatory, operational, and safety environment.
In the report, the group presents its approach to responsible and transparent management, addressing the environmental impact of its activities, social aspects including safety, human capital, and community involvement, and the area of corporate governance, which includes ethical conduct, control, risk management, and decision-making at the management and board levels. The report reflects the understanding that corporate responsibility is not a one-off event, but an integral part of quality, long-term business management.
Ofer Linchevski, CEO of Gadot Group, stated: 'The publication of Gadot Group's first sustainability report is not an endpoint, but a starting point. The report expresses a genuine commitment to responsible management, transparency, and measurement, and serves as a foundation for the continuous improvement of the group's activities, balancing environmental and social responsibility with long-term business value creation.'
Gadot Group stated that 'the publication of the first sustainability report is an important step for Gadot Group in laying a structured foundation for measurement, management, and reporting in the ESG areas. It is intended to serve as a basis for further deepening and expanding existing processes. Alongside presenting existing activities, the report defines future directions of action and reinforces the group's commitment to transparency, continuous improvement, and long-term value creation for its customers, employees, business partners, and the environment in which it operates.'
