The Manufacturers Association of Israel and Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute signed last week an economic cooperation agreement with Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
According to the agreement the parties will undertake to create joint ventures, exchanges of economic delegations and exchange information about market surveys, commercial events, and local & international exhibitions and trade fairs.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Anatoly Kinakh, president Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Mr. Shraga Brosh president Manufacturers Association and Mr. Lev Leviev.
According to data released by the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute Israel's industrial exports to Ukraine, excluding diamonds, rose 21% to $40.5 million in the first half of 2005, compared with the corresponding period in 2004. Total exports to the Ukraine for 2005 is expected to grow by 25% to $120 million in 2005, compared with last year.
