A delegation of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) headed by ACMA's president Mr. Jayant Davar visits Israel this week.
The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), with a membership of over 600 companies, with an annual turnover of US$20 billion, has been the Indian auto component industry's spokesman for the last 38 years. ACMA has a membership of over 600 companies that contribute 90% of the total output in the organized sector. Bilateral trade in 2009, excluding diamonds, was US$3 billion , a drop of 25% compared to 2008. total trade without diamonds was down 14% ( US$1.77 billion) Export to India dropped by 10% to US$1.21 billion while import was down 26% to US$558 million.
During the first quarter of 2010 bilateral trade excluding diamonds was US$763 million. Israeli exports was US$605 million while import was US$158 million.
