The Knesset Interior and Environment Committee approved last week regular times for the Daylight saving time. According to the decision, the daylight saving time will start and end on fixed dates from this year.
It will begin at 2 am on the Friday closest to April 1, and end on the Saturday night between Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year's) and Yom Kippur.
Minister of the Interior Ophir Pines-Paz supports the decision and it will be sent to the Knesset plenum for its second and third readings.
