CBS: Imports recovered after second Lebanon war in July-August

The CBS noted in a detailed study that imports in September was up by 13.3% over August to $4.44 billion
 
The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) reported last week that imports to Israel have recovered, following the slight slow down caused by the second Lebanon war in July-August.
 
The CBS noted in a detailed study that imports in September, excluding diamonds, was up by 13.3% over August to $4.44 billion (34.7% more than $3.3 billion in September 2005).
 
Imports, excluding diamonds, in the nine months January-September 2006 totaled $31.3 billion - 14.5% more than $27.3 billion in the corresponding period in 2005.
