Israel Diamond Exchange President Avi Paz was elected for a second term this week at the bourse’s 58th Annual General Meeting, having been the sole candidate for this position.
Paz promised to continue the momentum begun in his first term, during which he said the industry attracted many new foreign companies and the amount of rough diamonds brought to Israel increased significantly. He said that he would continue his efforts to promote and maintain the Israeli Diamond Industry’s status as world leader.
IDE members also elected a new Board of Directors, as follows: Yair Sahar, Yehuda Sayag, Ben Zion Shasho, Estie Wertheimer, Ilan Samuel, Moti Ganz, Moti Fluk, Yosef Siani, Jacob (Cobi) Korn, Itzhak Cohen, Hagai Halevi, Yehezkel Blum, Ishai Topel, Eli Shiri, Rafi Yerushalmi, Nissan Chen.
