IAA intends to build a 120-room hotel at Ben Gurion Airport’s Terminal 3. The proposed four-star hotel will serve not only incoming and outgoing air passengers but also air crews
The Israel Airports Authority (IAA) will issue, in the second half of 2007, a BOT (build, operate, transfer) tender for a 120-room hotel at Ben Gurion Airport’s Terminal 3.
In a long awaited statement the IAA said that the proposed four-star hotel will serve not only incoming and outgoing air passengers but also air crews. Most world airports have similar hotels, especially airports that handle follow-on flights.
Since Ben Gurion Airport is not an international hub and operates as final destination for most incoming flights, the Airports Authority has decided to construct a small size hotel.
