The Central Bureau of Statistics ( CBS ) reported that slowdown in growth has not affected industrial enterprises.
According to data released by the CBS Industrial output rose by an annualized 10.2% in the second quarter, following a 10.9% rise in the first quarter.
Seasonally adjusted industrial output rose by 3.0% last June.
The Central Bureau of Statistics cautioned, however, that the figures were tentative, and that the figures for the month of June were particularly high for seasonal reasons. Although the figures were seasonally adjusted, they were still very irregular, with sharp fluctuations in trend data.
Working hours per employee registered 3.9% rise in the second quarter, following a 4.4% rise in the first quarter. However employment in industrial enterprises was up only 1.3% in the second quarter, compared with a promising 3% rise in the first quarter.
The figures show that high-tech output was up by an annual 20.1% in the second quarter, following a 22.4% in the first quarter.
High-tech employment was up by annualized 6.5% in the second quarter, following a 5.9% rise in the first quarter.
