The company will utilize aircraft type Airbus A340-600 beginning April 26th 2010 on its fifth weekly flight on the Munich- Tel Aviv route
Lufthansa announced last week that during the summer season it intends to operate an additional flight using aircraft type Airbus A340-600 on its weekly service between Munich and Tel Aviv.
On the other days of the week it will operate aircraft type AirbusA340-300 which can transport 221 passengers. During the winter season the company operates four weekly flights to Munich utilizing B737 aircraft.
The German airline recently announced that from the 26th April 2010 it will add its fifth weekly flight on the route, which will increase the number of flights that the company operates between Germany and Israel.
The airline indicated that for all of its flights to Israel in the summer timetable, it will operate wide bodied aircraft, providing three cabin class services.
