Arkia and Sun Dor will begin flying passengers to and from the three Russian cities of Sochi, Krasnodar and Rostov
Minister of Transport and Road Safety Israel Katz announced last week the renewal of flights to and from the three Russian cities: Sochi, Krasnodar and Rostov to Ben Gurion International Airport.
The approval means that the two Israeli operators Arkia and Sun Dor will begin flying passengers to and from the three Russian cities.
For the last six months Israel has been negotiating with Russian authorities to allow armed Israeli guards to fly in and out of the airports. The newly signed agreement allows Israeli armed guards hence bilateral flights were allowed to be renewed.
