El Al Israel Airlines Ltd. announced last week an increase in its ticket prices by another 5% on June 18.

The company also announced it would increase its fuel surcharges by US$20, to US$80 per ticket. The increase will not apply to all routes.
 
The present increase is the airline's second price increase in a month. The company blamed the increase on higher fuel prices. It is understood that the company is not ruling out more increases in the future.
