FedEx Israel held an impressive customer conference last night, focusing on resilience and continuity in logistics services amid the challenges of war and reforms. The conference addressed global and security changes, alongside solutions and steps taken by FedEx to maintain service continuity for its customers.

The conference was opened by Miriam Tzur, CEO of FedEx Israel, with a lecture on "Express in the Test: Continuity and Reliability in Israel". Tzur described the strength of FedEx's global activity and presented a situation report on logistics activity in the world. In her lecture, Tzur referred to changes in trade routes, the growth in eCommerce activity, and the challenges and trends in the air cargo sector, such as the accelerated transition to the use of advanced technologies, such as robotics and artificial intelligence in shipping processes.

The CEO of FedEx emphasized the challenges created by the war in Israel and the solutions the company is implementing to ensure continuous service. She noted that since the beginning of the war on October 7, FedEx has not stopped its activity in Israel and even increased the frequency of flights from 2 daily flights to 3-4 daily flights six days a week, as well as continued to operate fully in the south and north areas, all under the constraint of a continuous shortage of manpower.

"Our customers are at the top of our priority list, and we are using all means to ensure them uninterrupted service even in difficult times. We are committed to creating operational resilience and creative logistics solutions, to be an anchor for our customers in times of uncertainty", said Tzur and added: "Global changes, along with the security challenges unique to Israel, pose complex tasks for us. Our goal is not only to maintain stability, but also to provide added value and be an anchor for our customers in times of uncertainty".

Later in the conference, additional professional lectures were held, including Raz Hillelman, Deputy CEO of Regulation at the Chamber of Commerce Association, who reviewed the impact of regulatory reform on international trade. Following him, Attorney Gil Nadal, head of the Tax and Import/Export Department from Goldfarb Seligman Law Firm, delved into the legal aspects of the "What's good for Europe, is good for Israel" reform.

The guest lecturer, Nir Dvori, the military and security affairs writer, analyzed the security situation and its implications on the Israeli and global economy. The meeting was concluded by Tali Rochman, Logistics Manager of Intel Israel, who reviewed the methods Intel uses for planning and forecasting, in order to maintain logistics resilience and continuity even in times of crisis.

The event was held at the impressive "Alonim Farm" complex in Kibbutz Netzer Sereni, and the participating customers enjoyed a rich refreshment and lunch. FedEx emphasized the importance of direct dialogue with customers and the ability to share knowledge and practical tools to deal with logistics challenges. They noted that the conference was praised by the participants for its content and organization.
