Ben Gurion Airport has released its monthly activity report for May 2025. The report data shows that cargo movement in May 2025 stood at 31,380 tons, representing an increase of 11.17% compared to May of the previous year, during which 28,226 tons of cargo were moved.
In May 2025, 8,050 tons of cargo were moved on passenger planes - a figure that represents a decrease of about 3.8% compared to May 2024, during which 8,368 tons were moved on passenger planes. On cargo planes, 23,330 tons were moved compared to 19,858 tons - an increase of 17.5%.
Since the beginning of the year (January to May), 154,473 tons of cargo have been moved at Ben Gurion Airport - an increase of 9.85% compared to the same period last year, during which 140,618 tons of cargo were moved at Ben Gurion Airport.
