Ben Gurion Airport has published its monthly activity report for May 2025. According to the report, cargo movement in May 2025 stood at 31,380 tons, representing an increase of 11.17% compared to May of the previous year, during which 28,226 tons of cargo were moved.
In May 2025, 8,050 tons of cargo were moved on passenger planes - a figure that represents a decrease of about 3.8% compared to May 2024, during which 8,368 tons were moved on passenger planes. Cargo planes moved 23,330 tons compared to 19,858 tons - an increase of 17.5%.
Since the beginning of the year (January to May), 154,473 tons of cargo have been moved at Ben Gurion Airport - an increase of 9.85% compared to the same period last year, during which 140,618 tons of cargo were moved at Ben Gurion Airport.
