The Histadrut (General Federation of Labor in Israel), employee representatives, and Lufthansa management have signed a new collective agreement that will apply to dozens of the company's employees in Israel and will be in effect for two years, until the end of 2027. The agreement was signed after professional negotiations and regulates a series of improvements in employment conditions, including salary increases, salary scale updates, and additional benefits.

According to the agreement, the base salary of employees will increase by 3.5% starting from January 2026, and an identical addition will come into effect in January 2027. In addition, a personal supplement for employees based on individual performance was determined, which will come into effect in 2027. The agreement also includes an update of the salary scale and adjustments in the value of holiday gifts.

Attorney Keren Kalper, manager of the aviation division at the Transport Workers Union in the Histadrut, noted that this is a significant agreement that reflects mutual commitment between the parties: "The agreement includes salary increases, salary scale updates, and additional benefits, and it is the result of real cooperation between the Histadrut, employee representatives, and company management. The goal was to ensure job security and fair wages alongside the continued operation and growth of Lufthansa in Israel."

Sofi Hanan, Chair of the Workers' Committee at Lufthansa Israel, emphasized the spirit of negotiation that characterized the talks: "The conversations were conducted in a good and businesslike atmosphere. The employees appreciate the support they received from Lufthansa management in Israel throughout the war period, and the wage increases express the management's trust in the local team."

Representatives of the Histadrut, the Workers' Committee, and Lufthansa Group management participated in formulating the agreement, including senior officials from the fields of human resources, ground operations, sales, and Lufthansa Cargo. The agreement is perceived in the industry as a move that strengthens the stability of Lufthansa Group's workforce in Israel, in a period of gradual recovery in the aviation and air cargo industry.
