The management of Athens International Airport in Greece has selected the Israeli airline, Israir, as the fastest-growing airline in the Middle East. At a ceremony held in Athens last Thursday (March 13), Uri Sirkis, CEO of Israir, presented the company's growth strategy and received the award for 'The Fastest Growing Airline in the Middle East'.
Israir plans to fly about half a million passengers to destinations in Greece in 2025, a growth of 25% compared to 2024. The company is preparing to fly two million passengers in 2026.
