Yesterday, a new cooperation agreement was signed between the Israeli Olympic Committee and the Israeli airline El Al, which will be the official carrier of the Olympic delegation to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
The signing event took place at El Al's offices, where El Al CEO, Dina Ben Tal Gannensia, and the Chairman of the Israeli Olympic Committee, Yael Arad, signed a strategic cooperation agreement, designed to accompany Israeli athletes on their journeys around the world until the Olympic Games.
At the end of the event, the CEO of El Al revealed a special sticker with a joint logo that was specially affixed to the company's Dreamliner 787 aircraft. Olympic athletes, including judoka Raz Hershko, Olympic champion and world champion, gymnast Artem Dolgopyat, Olympic judoka Yam Woltchek, Olympic swimmer Anastasia Gorbenko, sailor and women's team coach Shahar Tzuberi, and world champion sailor Sharon Kantor, attended the official sticker unveiling ceremony.
El Al CEO, Dina Ben Tal Gannensia, said: "This is a national mission and a great pride. We are committed to providing them with the best conditions for the journey, so they can focus on their important task - to represent Israel with honor".
The Chairman of the Israeli Olympic Committee, Yael Arad, said: "We found in El Al's management exceptional professionalism and a full understanding of the Olympic needs and I am very proud of the partnership we are launching today".
