This morning (Thursday), workers at the Maman cargo terminal at Ben Gurion Airport unloaded four cargo planes from the Moroccan Royal Air Force.
The planes, which landed in Israel, carried 176 tons of humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip. The aid, sent on the initiative of King Mohammed VI of Morocco, included sugar, rice, milk, meat, medicines, baby food, blankets, and tents.
This is the second shipment of aid: last June, two planes landed carrying 40 tons of medical equipment. Next week, two more planes are expected to land in Israel with about 40 tons of aid.
