According to Israel Airports Authority (IAA) passengers traffic at Ben Gurion Airport will reach a peak of over 42,000 a day.
In a statement issued last week the Airports Authority which has the overall responsibility on Israel's border crossings said that due to security concerns only 20,000 people are expected to pass through the Taba border crossing to Egypt, compared with 30,000 last year.
The IAA also expects over 500 planes carrying 12,500 passengers to land at the Eilat Airport during the Passover holiday, and 84 planes carrying 8,000 passengers from Europe ( France, the UK, the Netherlands and Scandinavia) are expected to land at Ovda Airport, close to Eilat.
