Flying Cargo continues to lead the logistics sector in Israel, with the completion of training for a new logistics center in Tzrifin for its retail division. The new logistics center, called 'Barkat Logistics Center', spans approximately 14,000 square meters, and together with the 'Almog Logistics Center', forms an impressive logistics campus of about 30,000 square meters across Tzrifin.

Flying Cargo noted that the two logistics centers primarily serve Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) such as food or cosmetics - products intended for distribution to large and small retailers or wholesalers across the country. However, the new logistics center also provides storage and distribution services for products that are not necessarily consumer goods.

Atir Plom, manager of the retail division at Flying Cargo, stated that the retail division specializes in the storage and distribution of mainly imported food products like premium chocolate and sweets. This is based on an advanced infrastructure for temperature-controlled storage and distribution services that include more than 70 daily distribution lines across the country. The division serves about 500 sales and wholesale points daily, and more than 2,000 different points each week.

The new logistics center, according to Plom, allows Flying Cargo to expand its services to importers of domestic electrical products that are not white goods, such as tools and kitchen products or any other product that is not necessarily food or cosmetics. This expansion, he says, strengthens the company's ability to provide personalized storage and distribution solutions for importers, and positions it as a leading player in the retail and logistics sectors in Israel.
