Orian announced that it has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics International GmbH for mutual representation in international shipping services worldwide. The agreement will take effect from January 1, 2025.

Industry insiders estimate that Orian, which exclusively represented DB Schenker in Israel in recent years, is preparing for the "day after" following the massive European deal in which DSV from Denmark acquired DB Schenker. From Orian, it was conveyed that "this agreement is strategic and significant, and will enable the company to continue to provide shipping services at the same level and with the same global coverage".

The Hellmann Group, which was established about 150 years ago in Germany, is a veteran and reputable company and is among the leading and largest international logistics and shipping companies in the world. Hellmann's main areas of activity include: sea and air shipping, land transport, express deliveries, logistics and storage services, customs brokerage services, and special logistics services. As of today, Hellmann operates in over 55 countries, operates about 250 branches, and employs more than 14,000 workers.

In the coming months, the company will work to carry out an orderly and gradual transfer of shipping activity to Hellmann, during which time Orian and Schenker will continue to provide the services provided so far.

From Orian, it was conveyed: "Orian is a very strong and stable company, with professional and dedicated employees and experienced management, which will continue to lead the international shipping and logistics field in Israel".

It should be noted that the agreement is not exclusive and that Platransport will continue to provide international shipping services with Hellmann.
