The deal, for NIS 146 million, still to receive approval of Israel Antitrust Authority
Maman Cargo Terminals and Handling Ltd. acquired the UPS Israel franchise for NIS 146 million. As part of the deal, Maman will pay NIS 100 million to the owners of O.P.S.I. (International Forwarding) LTD authorized service contractor for UPS in Israel.
The deal is yet to receive the confirmation of Israel Antitrust Authority. OPSI (International Handling) Ltd, founded in 1994, is a private company categorized under Freight-Forwarding and located in Lod Airport, Israel and is one of the fastest growing providers of logistics services in Israel. The company operates under the UPS label, and has 900 employees.
Maman Cargo Terminals & Handling Ltd is an Israel-based company active in the logistics and aviation sectors. The Company has six main activities; Logistics, providing management and operation services for cargo terminals, including a variety of logistic services for Supply Chain Management (SCM), storage, distribution, warehousing and delivery and transportation services.
