DSV e-Commerce, a subsidiary of DSV Israel owned by global DSV, is proud to announce the receipt of a license from the Customs Authority to operate a backhaul terminal.

The new terminal, built on a total area of approximately 5,000 square meters with an investment of millions of shekels, is located in Airport City near Ben Gurion Airport. It is one of the most advanced robotic warehouses in Israel, designed to handle particularly high volumes thanks to advanced technology developed specifically for the online trading platform (E-commerce). The terminal will be ready to receive and sort hundreds of thousands of shipments per month quickly and efficiently, while maintaining a particularly high level of service.

The terminal, whose construction was recently completed, is an excellent solution for the growing needs of the online commerce sector, which continues to grow at an accelerated pace in Israel. To this end, a great deal of effort has been invested in streamlining the release and distribution process and reducing the time gaps between the order date and the receipt of the shipment at the customer's home. The terminal will serve, among other things, the Israeli customer base of the e-commerce giant AliExpress.

Sigal Menahem Katzovich, CEO of DSV: "The company's management is constantly thinking strategically in order to expand into new markets and products that combine our core business in the supply chain. The online commerce sector is considered the fastest growing in logistics, and we are ready to offer innovative solutions combining robotics and AI technology. We will continue to drive innovation for our customers. The operation of the terminal, which will begin in the coming weeks, will integrate employees with special needs, and we are particularly proud of this."
