Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. said last week it would implement a general rate increase on U.S. exports in November 2009.
Rates on containers to Asia will be raised by US$100 per TEU, effective Nov. 1; to the East and West Mediterranean and Africa US$50 per TEU effective Nov. 5; and to North Europe US$50 per TEU effective Nov. 15.
